Dr. Kler was the first doctor in India to implant ICD, CRT-P, and CRT-D and to perform HIS Bundle Pacing. A pioneer in electrophysiology, he established the first electrophysiology department in India at a leading hospital in Delhi.
His areas of interest are complex coronary interventions, angioplasty, etc. He was also recognized with prestigious awards, including the Padma Bhushan and the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his excellence in the field of cardiac surgery.
